Members of the campus community may provide comments on academic policies that are under review. The open campus comment period for each policy is three weeks.

Academic Calendar Policy
Summary: The University of Minnesota is moving to a common calendar beginning fall 2028. The structure was developed with input from all campuses collected during spring and summer 2026.
Campus Review Period: October 19 - November 10
Under the new calendar, all campuses will have the same instructional dates, and each campus will determine its final exam schedule. Duluth may keep the current 5-day schedule or move to a 4-day schedule. Campus input is being collected through November 10 using the form below, and all input will be provided to the University Coordinating Council to inform their recommendation for campus leadership.
